Introducing Old Man’s Journey by Broken Rules

Let me introduce you to a GORGEOUS game that I will be reviewing this weekend. A little diddy called Old Man’s Journey.

I think it’s becoming glaringly obvious that I love great games with a great story and great artwork. What can I say, I’m terribly impressed by the amount of visual beauty that goes into a game! And Old Man’s Journey appeals to me in a way that tickles my senses.

Description (from the Old Man’s Journey website):

Old Man’s Journey, a soul-searching puzzle adventure, tells a story of life, loss, and hope.

Miniature Garden is Out Now

Happy weekend! I wanted to introduce you quickly to the game I’ll be playing this weekend… a little diddy called Miniature Garden by Fruitbat Factory.

Synopsis

In the woods not far from the city lies a school called the ‘Miniature Garden.’ In keeping with the school’s name, an original ‘Miniature Festival’ is held there every three years. There’s a rumor that an unnatural death will befall someone on the night of the festival. This year, as the sun sets, Yasunari and four other students find themselves trapped alone in the school on the night of the festival.

Beat Cop is Available Now

Beat Cop, the new game published by 11 bit Studios and developed by Pixel Crow is out now, and I am SO excited. It is sweet nostalgia for me in that the game reminds me greatly of one of my childhood favorites – Police Quest by Sierra. Granted, I still haven’t played it, but will be investing first thing tomorrow morning – my ten-year-old self is begging me for it.

Don’t worry, the game launches today, and you’ll be able to check it out in all its glory on Steam.
