Rosanna Pansino and Nerdy Nummies

Hey guys! I know, I haven’t blogged in a bit. Life’s been a little crazy since I moved! I just started a new job, which has been excellent, and things are finally calming down a little. I tell ya, I’ll be happy when I get my first paycheck! Let’s forget that I’m missing Raleigh Comic Con, but I’ll digress and get on with a quick little post for you today… *grumbles*

So, instead of whining about that, I wanted to talk about one of my recently favorited YouTubers,Rosanna Pansino! Rosanna runs a wildly popular baking show on YouTube called Nerdy Nummieson which she makes delightfully nerdtastic treats, cakes, pies, candies and more. Often, these goodies are video game themed such as the Bomberman cupcakes she made with Rhett and Link of Good Mythical Morning or the Super Smash Bros cupcakes made with Michelle Phan (you can see those above – tell me Pikachu isn’t the cutest damn thing)!

I’m a huge fan of baking. I’m a huge fan of video games. I’m a huge fan of pretty much all things chocolate. How could you possibly go wrong with this?!

She also has a sister, Molly, who frequently guest stars on Nerdy Nummies. Together, the two of them do hilarious challenges, such as the “pizza” challenge – using 16 ingredients, they randomly choose 8 a piece and add them to their pizzas for either a delicious or a disgusting creation.

From Rosanna’s website, so you can get an inkling about her:

A native to Seattle, Rosanna “Ro” Pansino currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. She became interested in the performing arts in high school, where she starred in the musical production of Grease as the lead character, Sandy.

After graduating with a degree in Communication and Business, Pansino created a small, geeky baking show called Nerdy Nummies. It rapidly became one of the most watched cooking shows on the internet, with over 2,900,000 subscribers on YouTube. Currently receiving over 32 million views a month, her original baking series continues to grow.

If you are into quirky baking shows, I’d highly recommend checking out her YouTube channel and indulging in all the adorableness that Nerdy Nummies has to offer! You’ll probably pick up some fun video-game inspired treat ideas along the way.

Oh, and check out Rhett and Link too – they’re awesome.
